DIRECTIONS FROM JOHANNESBURG/PRETORIA.

OPTION 1 - through Middleburg/Rossenekal

  1. N4 to Witbank.
  2. Take the Fontein St. turnoff to MIDDLEBURG (just after the Shell Ultra City).
  3. Go through Middleburg and turn right at T Junction into Van Riebech St. (major intersection).
  4. Turn Left into Meyer St. to get onto the R555 to STOFFBERG.
  5. Travel for 62km on the R555 then turn right onto the ROOSENEKAL Road (at Blinkwater and Garage).
  6. Then travel for 23km (still on R555) – turn right at ROOSENEKAL/LYDENBURG sign – R577.
  7. You are now travelling on the Steenkampsberg Pass. Travel for approx. 40ks and look for Willowcreek sign on RHS (road sign Boschfontein/Vermont).
  8. Turn right onto dirt road, sharp turn to right and carry on straight to the WILLOWCREEK entrance. (Do not turn left to Vermont).
  9. The Reception and TV room will be on the left hand side. Please ring the bell on the right hand side of the wooden doors. Fanie and Ansie will be there to greet you and assist you in finding your cottage.

OPTION 2 – through Dullstroom (High clearance vehicles ONLY recommended)

  1. N4 to from Johannesburg to Nelspruit.
  2. Turn left at the BELFAST/DULLSTROOM turnoff.
  3. Turn right at the 5th Stop street (Toyota Garage) onto the R540.
  4. Continue approx 33km to Dullstroom. Travel on through Dullstroom towards Lydenburg. Continue for about 53km.
  5. Turn LEFT at the ROOIKRANS turnoff and follow dirt road for 4km.
  6. Turn LEFT at OSHOEK – a further 8km to the T-junction.
  7. Turn LEFT at the t-junction.
  8. The Reception and TV room will be on the left hand side. Please ring the bell on the right hand side of the wooden doors. Fanie and Ansie will be there to greet you and assist you in finding your cottage.
Normal cars travelling from Dullstroom must not take the Rooikrans turnoff, but carry on towards Lydenberg and turn off onto the R577 to ROOSENEKAL. Willowcreek is 30km from that turnoff. This is a slightly longer route but it is all tarred roads.

DIRECTIONS FROM LYDENBURG.

  1. Lydenburg/Maschadadorp road.
  2. Take the R540 to Dullstroom/Belfast.
  3. Turn right on the Roosenekal Road R577 for approx 30km.
  4. You will pass 3 Vermont signs on the left hand side, and then turn LEFT at the 4th Vermont/Boschfontein sign (WILLOWCREEK) on left hand side.
  5. Sand road with a sharp turn to the right and you will then enter Willowcreek. Do not turn left at this point to Vermont.
  6. The Reception and TV room will be on the left hand side. Please ring the bell on the right hand side of the wooden doors. Fanie and Ansie will be there to greet you and assist you in finding your cottage.
